Hayley's Swimming Adventure

We took Hayley swimming on Tuesday for the first time and to make things more fun, I went to Target and got her her first bathing suit...

Holy crap, isn't she adorable?!!
It's still a bit big on her (ok, so it's size 12 mo...shh!) but she still looks cute in it.

So after the inside pictures in her swim suit (she's my first baby...EVERYTHING she does or wears deserves a picture!), we took her out to the pool at Grandma and Grandpa Guthrie's house to see how she reacted to the water.

Her reaction was simply this...furrowed eyebrows. She cried for maybe 5 seconds (picture down below) but I think it was because of the sunlight in her eyes.
I think she was more confused during the entire thing than mad about it. "What is this? A huge bathtub with bright lights?" I was very surprised at how well she did.

And even after taking her out of the pool, she didn't cry. Here are a few pictures. She just looks so content, looking around at everything that was happening around her.
And again with the furrow eyebrows...my mom says she gets that from me...whatever!!! I guess we'll let you compare the 2...[this was the best "furrowed-eyebrow" picture I could find of myself. I have better ones but I dont have the scanner to put them on the computer.]
