A Big First

I just needed to document my Hayley and her big girl move this morning. You may think it's silly because we are in NO way ready to potty train but it is still a first!
This morning, I had just changed her diaper and she looked at me and made her face (the "pooping" face). I thought, "Dangit, Hay, we just put on a clean diaper! Couldn't you have done this 5 minutes ago?" So I proceeded to sit her on the toilet and see if she'd poop there and save us a diaper. She was so so very angry at me and cried for a minute but I let her put her arms around me and hug me tight and that big girl pooped right in the toilet! I know it will be a long while before she is potty trained but it was still an exciting morning for us. :)
I am so proud of this girly and the new things she learns.

yay! Yeah we ended up doing the same with Sam at 10 months but because he was a little...stopped up (from the milk, before we realized he was lactose intolerant)... so it was easy to tell when he needed to go. I'm glad we were able to start that early though because it gets them used to it early so it's not something scary. Tyler wanted to sit on the potty today to be like Sam but he only sat for 2 seconds and wanted off, lol.
