Pumpkin Carving

Between Andersen climbing on everything and then him learning to take steps (still not prefering walking as a form of transportation), I forgot to blog about our pumpkin carving night! Hayley was excited all week and when daddy had a day off on Thursday, we took the opportunity and carved pumpkins.
Hayley was actually grossed out by the pumpkin innards but eventually, we got her to touch them and help daddy scoop them out.
She picked the shapes of everything we cut out of her pumpkin and she loved watching daddy create what she asked for.
Davey looked online for a long time before deciding on doing a Jack Skelington pumpkin. He loves the pumpkin carving and for the most part, I leave that fun time for him and Hayley (and Andersen next year).
