Pulling weeds/Park day/Date night!

Last Friday, I did my morning run and when I came back home, I had no desire to go lay back down. I decided to go outside and pull weeds [and take down the Christmas lights...in February].
A little while later, Davey brought our little princess outside and she was asking to help me. So...I decided to put her to work.I gave her a bag and she put all of the pulled weeds in it.

The perfect job for a two year old! :)

Also, Fridays are park days and this particular Friday, we were celebrating Mallerie's birthday.

Yup, that's how Hayley eats cupcakes...and cake...and anything.

At the end of the day, Davey's parents had offered to watch our kids while we went on a date so we all got ready to go over there.

We went to Outback Steakhouse and had some really yummy steak. It was such a great day/night and we are so grateful for Jed and Annette for waning to take our kids.
