Utah!

We headed up to Utah for conference a week ago...after deciding 3 days earlier that we were going! So spontaneous! :)

It was so fun.
We visited Juli, Nick, and Annalie (Davey's sis, hubby, and baby).
We got to talk to Gramma and Grampa Maughan on Skype (and a few of Davey's brothers)
We visited my [fake] cousins Spencer and Lisa and their kids, Kate and Jess.
We visited the Boyd's, Davey's childhood friend's family. They are always so good to us!
And Hayley got sick for the first time. :( Not Fun!
But our trip was well worth the drive and we loved every minute we spent in Utah.
Here are some pictures from our fun adventure.
This is one of the first things we did when we got to Juli and Nick's apt.

This sweater is from the Maughan's and we didn't think we'd be pulling it out for another few months but we used it in Utah. She didn't like being bundled up so mcuh since she is used to shorts and a sleeveless shirt.

Annalie was trying to figure out who this new baby in her house was.
Hayley's favorite thing = devouring her soft baby doll.
My baby is gorgeous! Her smile is extremely contagious. How can you NOT smile when you see this beautiful face?
Davey had SO much fun playing with his niece.
She is a little monkey!
So I was taking a picture of Annalie standing up and I didnt even notice that Hayley is sitting in the front, ready to devour their pillow. haha. She is a crack up! Everything goes in her mouth!

This is Hayley's other new sweater from the Maughan's.
She also just loved this bean bag at Spence and Lisa's house.
Davey was trying to get Jess to smile but she just wasn't into it.
It took awhile for her to smile at him but don't worry, she finally did. :)
Ok, this looks weird because it is a picture of a picture but it was seriously the most gorgeous picture of these girls. Kate is the older one and Jess is the younger one. They are such beautiful little girls!
This picture is hilarious of Jess. Lisa was trying to get her to smile at me and she was apparently not in a good mood.
What a cutie! (both of them, of course) haha.
Now onto the "driving home" section of this post...meaning, The End of the post. =)
Hayley was uber sick, congestion, coughing, runny nose, etc. so we got her some pedialyte and benadryl for the drive home (and I wasn't just drugging her up for the trip. my dad suggested the benadryl and I trust him. haha). Every time we was awake in the car, she was fussy unless she was eating. It was not fun. But we still got a few good pictures of her. =)
This is peaceful, sleeping Hayley.
And this is not-so-peaceful, not-sleeping-well Hayley. =)
This is Davey's finger trying to calm Hayley down like a pacifier...since she hates and wont take an actual pacifier! urg!
And last but certainly not least, this is the most vibrant picture of all.
All of the colors in this picture stand out; her eyes, her flower, and her bottle.
It was one of our favorites.
I am so lucky to have a daughter with the most beautiful blue eyes!
