Christmas and New Years

For New Year's, we were here...(Strawberry, Arizona)

...and all I wanted to do was go back here...(ANASAZI)
It was hard looking out the window, driving through Strawberry, onto Payson, to Rye, and back to Phoenix. From Payson on, it is the same drive I took over 3 years ago, headed back from the trail. For some reason, almost the entire drive was spent reminiscing and even talking to my husband about my journey through those 6 weeks. It seems as though I have lost that ANASAZI attitude and spunk I once had...and I hope to soon find it.

Anyway, now onto my PICTURE OVERLOAD! These pictures span from the week before the Christmas all the way to today. =)
Have fun!

I took some pictures in her Christmas dress and her Christmas onesie a few days before Christmas.
She was so happy and I was loving the smiles and different faces.
Such an adorable Christmas picture

"What'd you say, Mom?"
Gummy smile

Hayley's First Christmas!
(Dec 25th, 2008)
(note: Any pictures with "Merry Christmas 2008" are from the actual opening of presents at the Maughan's house from Christmas morning)

Hayley loves her Carebear from Uncle Ben

And some link-a-doo's from G-ma/G-pa Maughan
And a rubber ducky with weird loops around it from her parents

Playing with her Carebear and her license plate from Uncle Ben

Our adorable nativity scene from the Maughan's

My FAVORITE present from Davey...a shoulder bag corduroy purse since my Anasazi one broke...(still not completely over that depressing fact)

Hayley playing with her toys and the soft blanket

Eating her books we gave her

We tried to get a Christmas picture of the babies but Annalie wasn't happy and Hayley was giving her dirty looks.Hayley wanted to ride Annalie
Successfully (ok, with help from Annalie's mommy), Hayley rode Annalie like a horsey.
(Look at Tyler's face..."What the heck are these girls doing?")
So Annalie came back after her
After trying to put them back in for a picture...all of those poor kiddos were angry.
Again...Hayley, being the bully, wanted Annalie's pacifier
Hayley was successful in getting Annalie's pacifier
So Annalie left (to keep her pacifier safe), and Tyler's mom picked him up because he was crying...
And poor Hayley was left all alone, with her meanie of a mom still snapping pictures.
Hayley and her second cousin, Tyler. They are 2 days apart in age. "Baby's First Christmas" Pajamas
She loved the reindeer feet and kept trying to eat them.

The Cabin for New Year's
(Dec. 30th-Jan.2nd)

Poor kiddo...but you have to get creative when you're out in the snow. hahaThey have the same smile with those closed lips!!!
So precious!
Absolutely LOVING this picture...and the baby in it!
She gets so proud and LOVES to sit up now that she can do it and get down all by herself.
If only her toys were edible. =)
She REALLY wanted to touch the camera
Someday she'll look at this and wonder what the heck I was thinking...but when it comes to warmth, we've got our own fashion sense. =)
I had to put the headband over the beanie because the beanie was too big!
My dad and his funky cool Christmas pajamas.
He's so funny.

Almost last but certainly not least...some pictures from today.
I love her sweater. She looks so sophisticated in it.

And lastly, a new video of Hayley repeating me! It is SOOOO ADORABLE!
