I have been thinking a lot lately.
I want my Hayley to grow up knowing the great person she is named after.
I want her to reognize her, feel of her great spirit, and strive to be like her.
So I asked my beautiful friend's little sister, Devaun, if she would be willing to email me some pictures of Mahala and she pulled through. I will forever be thankful for that. At times, I feel as thought this 10 years has been so long that I forget exactly what she looked like or how she sounded but I looked at the pictures she sent and the memories came flooding back. Actually seeing her beautiful, smiling face makes it easier to remember the way things were. That smile was always extremely infectious. Oh how grateful I am for two wonderful person in my life with the same beautiful name. They both hold a special place in my heart, hence the reason the second one shares a name with the first.
Enjoy these pictures...she truly is beautiful.
This is how I remember Haley. Big bows, beautiful eyes, and a huge smile on her face. I will never forget this.
