A post for my handsome 3 month old

Oh my sweet angel Andersen. I cannot believe you are 3 months old already! Why does the time seem to be slipping away so quickly? I cannot say enough how good of a baby you are. You only cry when something is wrong, you smile numerous times a day even if no one is in front of you, you coo and giggle and have the cutest red hair! You are 100% opposite of your sister. You prefer snuggling with mom, still being swaddled (I know, Hayley gave up swaddling at like 4 weeks!!!), and daily happiness! You would rather be held than be anywhere else and I love my cuddle time with you. When your sister was born and wouldn't cuddle, I was almost grateful because I used to think that snuggly babies were just spoiled and that they needed to learn to be happy not in someone's arms---but baby, you have changed the way I look at things.
At 3 months, you are:
  • 14 1/2 pounds (Tank!)
  • grabbing and holding onto toys
  • smiling with no stimulation
  • starting to stand and use your leg muscles (not like stand up to a couch or anything...that'd be nuts!)
  • sleeping 12 hours a night or more (usually 8:30pm-9:00am)
  • not a consistent napper but moreso napping most of the day because you LOVE to sleep
  • still drinking 8 oz bottles "sigh"
  • loving the tv! What a newfound glory for you! (also 100% opposite of your sister because you see, at 19 months, she just discovered the tv also)
  • already holding your hands on your bottle and assisting mom with feedings
  • holding your binky in your mouth with your hands
  • sucking your fingers until mom forces a binky in your mouth. :)
  • the most handsome boy I have ever met (ok, besides your daddy!)

I love you, my 3 month old sweety! Life with you would not be life at all! What a scared family we were to welcome you just 16 months after your sister but you have made it a breeze!

(this sad face could melt a stone cold heart)
