Germs, germs, go away, dont come back another day!

Wow...that's beauty right there. Just plain beauty.
If you're wondering why Hayley looks unhappy in these pictures, she was diagnosed with strep and a really bad ear infection yesterday. Trust me when I say it has been a long day. I took yet another day off to care for my sick children (Andersen is still on breathing treatments) and am trying to get them well! I guess I should start from the beginning, huh?

Sunday night, Andersen was almost in the hospital with bronchiolitis. Breathing treatments were every 2 hours, including all night long. So I took Monday off to care for him. Hayley was doing great until Wednesday night, when she started running a fever. I thought it was teething but on Thursday around lunchtime, my mother in law calls me at work and says Hayley is crying and grabbing at her throat. So she brings her in for an appt and Hayley had strep and an ear infection! Andersen is doing much better but still on treatments every 4 hours and what does Hayley wake up with this morning? A horrible cough like her brother! So now BOTH kids are on treatments and Hayley is on antibiotics.

I'm hoping this will be over soon because I love my children to death but there is only so much crying you can take from two little people at the same time for hours at a time.

Poor girl is trying so hard to smile for the camera but she obviously didnt feel good.
Oh darlin'. I love her so much!
Davey snapped this last picture while Hayley I were sleeping last night. This is the first time she fell asleep in our bed and slept most of the night. She must have felt pretty crummy to do so because all day today, she keeps falling asleep on me on the couch usually in increments of 5 minutes. Poor kids!

And of course my dad is out of town, right? Isnt the only time my kids get really sick when their awesome pediatrician is out of town? Of course...
