On Saturday, Hayley woke up from her nap, went to her closet, grabbed out a pink tutu she wore at 6 months old and said, "I princess, mom." We were leaving to go eat dinner at daddy's work but how could I resist her wanting to be a princess? Five minutes later, she walked out of the playroom with some hot pink butterfly wings and said, "I princess, mom." I did say no to that one. You pick your battles, right? :)
After eating dinner with daddy, we went to Target because I had some stuff to pick up. We passed along the kid movie/book aisle and I lost Hayley. I called for her and she didnt answer and as I looked around the corner, there she was...
...just reading an Elmo book on the floor of Target.
That's my princess girl and I'm so proud that she loves books so much.
