A couple weeks ago (because that's how far behind I am on our family blog), I bought a cute little froggy chair for Andersen. He liked it for about...hmm...2 seconds?...before his sister started rocking it back and forth (she was trying to be nice and it
is a rocking chair).

Look at his sad, scared face in this picture. Poor Andersen!

Andersen also got his first professional haircut 2 weeks ago. It looks adorable and he just sat there and let her do the whole thing.

You cant see it very well but she put green gel in his hair so his faux hawk is green. :)

Here is Hayley with her favorite book in the world. She asks to read this at least 3 times a day. It will be going back to the library this week but we will make sure and check it out again.

We also got a new bed from our awesome friends, the Skousens, so our mattress has been hanging out in the family room right now until we can get it to my parent's house. Hayley LOVES the "min trampoline" in our house. :)

I love her real smiles when I can catch them. We love playing airplane.

And as you can see from the picture above and below, I dont get much personal space. Such is life as a mom. :)

Andersen will be 18 months old in a few weeks and I just cant believe it! He is so smart but definitely not a performer so nobody [
besides his parents] really gets to hear all of the things he says.
His favorite songs are "Tiny Turtle" and "Wheels on the Bus". He knows every verse of Wheels on the Bus and he likes the sing "Bubble, bubble, pop!" in Tiny Turtle.
His favorite phrases are "I did it!" and "No way!" but he has so many words and phrases that I am not going to write them all down anymore.
Hayley gets smarter by the minute, it seems! She surprises me with the big words she says and her attentiveness to other's feelings. I was sad yesterday and without saying anything, she just came up and held on to me. It was so sweet.
I want to document the sweet testimony she bore to me 3 nights ago. My SIL is doing a book of testimonies for Davey's grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary and she asked if I would ask Hayley what she knew about Jesus Christ. This is exactly what Hayley said, in order:
"He dies for us. If I hit people, Jesus is sad. Be good listeners. When I make good choices, Jesus is happy. He loves me. "
