So we got to check out 3 brand new books. Hayley loves them all except for Purplicious (which I dont care for either...since it says things like, "Pink is for babies." and there is a lot of teasing in it) and we read them all of the time.

It has been a fun week. I am splitting the fun up into two posts because I took a lot of pictures and have a lot of typing to go along with everything. :)
My mom's best friend, Diana and her husband Lorin are in town from Utah and I walked in the room the other day to see Diana reading Hayley a book. It was so precious.
Later that afternoon, my mom tells me to run outside with my camera for a hilarious picture. I ran out to see this...Hayley playing in dirt. I didnt understand why it was hilarious to my mom until I realized it's my dad's garden and that is all horse manure. Yuck! She totally gt her special China shoes all yucky and they have yet to be cleaned.
That night, I went to enrichment with my mom. Andy stayed with my dad but we took Hayley to the nursery. She did so well that they let her pick some balloons to take home. Lucky for me, I remembered I have two kids so I asked if we could have some more and they gave me another pair. The kids had a blast showing off the balloons to Grandpa.
The next day, I went to the library with my brother and sister. I wanted to check out the Pinkalicious book for Hayley and it showed in the computer that they had two of them available but neither were on the shelves. I went up front and asked the librarian about it and she said they could be getting repaired but she flagged down another librarian who asked me, "Do you have a special little girl at home?" Of course, I said yes. She said, "I have the brand new Pinkalicious, Purplicious, and Goldilicious books in the back. I wasnt going to put them on the shelves until next week but I'll make an exception and give them to you now."
