Hayley loves Astrid. When she wakes up in the morning, she asks about her and wants to go see her so usually, after breakfast, we head outside to play with the bunny.
One of Hayley's favorite things to do is to feed Astri carrotts.
I find this adorable that she is brave enough to do it. Astrid's biting must not hurt much because Hayley has said Astrid's bitten her a couple of times but she doesnt even care about it. If anything, she thinks it's kind of funny.
So later that day, I saw on my Twitter {suzescorner} that Joe's Real BBQ was doing it's free food day. Andrea, Leyla and I decided to take our kids over there after eating. Lindsey and her famiy joined us after lunch to the splash pad across the street.
Andersen is so funny at the splash pads these days. He is totally fearless and LOVES putting his face straight into the water. He always ends up soaking wet when we leave.
Kai isnt the biggest fan of the splash pads yet but we are training him. :)
That night, I let the kids go back outside and play. Andersen wanted to go in Astrid's cage so I let him for a minute. He isnt as soft as Hayley is with Astrid so Astrid doesn't like him as much but she'll let him pet her once in a while. :)
Then I let the kids play on the trampoline. At first, I looked out the window and thought they were fighting...
Turns out, they both thought it was hilarious to jump on top of each other. :)
