Cinco de Mayo

As a little kid, we used to celebrate Cinco de Mayo by eating Mexican food and having a small party. This year, I forgot it was Cinco de Mayo until people started posting it on Facebook. :)I watched Tessa that afternoon so I let the girls play on the trampoline with the hose.

Andersen was being silly with his lunch.

Then the kids and I got ready for Will's choir concert.

Sticking out like a sore thumb. I love my brother so much. :)

The kids playing in the courtyard of the school after the concert. Then, we went to my parents house for a small Mexican fiesta, complete with a yummy dish my sister taught us how to make. I cant remember the name but it's corn with mayonnaise, chili powder, and parmesan cheese. It was actually pretty yummy!

So yummy, in fact, that I didnt even care that my face was a mess by the end. :)

Hayley zonked out on the couch watching Beauty and the Beast. :)

And us adults played Rook late into the night...one of our favorite things to do.

It was a fun Cinco de Mayo. Maybe next year, I'll remember and be more prepared. :)
