Swimming

We love to swim.

It has been SO hot for September and we decided to go swimming over the weekend, just me and my kids.

Hayley is so independent in the pool and will go anywhere with her floaties on. I hope she doesnt forget this when it's time to start swimming again next year. Andersen hated the pool at the beginning of the summer but LOVES it now. He tries so hard to get out of his yellow floaty so he can feel the water and splash everywhere.

Hayley loves being in the water. I know she'll be mad when it gets too cold and we have to explain to her that we cant swim until next summer. But for now, we'll just enjoy the pool as much as we can...

Oh and as for leaving so abruptly during Friday's blog post, my husband knew I had had a hard week and surprised me with dinner at Serrano's and a babysitter for an hour or so. It was so nice to be alone with him for a while without our kids around. I love them so much but it's nice to have a break once in a while. :)
