Next we take a trip to the San Tan mall because Bubs loves being outside.
Being a 1 yr old means you automatically know how to climb like a monkey.
Being a 1 yr old's sister means you get to join in on the birthday fun too.
As you can see, our clothes have changed. You see, mom forgot about the splash pad when we went to the mall in the morning so after watching G-man, she was nice enough to get us in our swim suits and take us all the way back to the mall so we could play in the water. That's what moms of birthday boys do.
To end our birthday festivities, we eat dinner at Red Robin. Sister loves to color and drink lemonade.
Bubs learned how to drink out of a straw on the very day he turned 1! Go Andy! He also got a big sundae and the nice people sang happy birthday to him. We were sent home with 2 balloons, one of which mom lost into the air in the parking lot at Walmart. Oops! Good thing Hayley and Bubs didnt notice as it went flying into the sky. :)
After we got home, sister was already asleep so we put her in bed and Bubs made some silly dance moves while we grooved and skyped with Aunt Andrea.
Dear Andersen:
My sweet sweet chubby son. You light up my life every morning when you wake up. You have made this year a breeze with your calm attitude and big smiles. I love your crazy curly red hair and your dimple. I thought Id be bummed when your eyes changed from blue to hazel but they are as handsome as ever. You are truly what every mother wishes her baby will be like and I love that I get to have you! Happy birthday, sweet baby boy. I love you so so so much.
Love,
Your Mom
At 1 year, Andersen:

- loves to babble all.the.time.
- loves balls and trucks.
