Last night, I let Hayley stay up and watch a movie for a bit...as you can see, it didnt last long. She's been falling asleep close to 8pm every night since she no longer naps and I actually prefer that to her taking a nap.

When I walked in to put her to bed, Andersen looked so adorable with his Woody right by him. So far, it doesnt seem like he'll be attached to stuffed animals/toys as much as Hayley is but this is a start. He usually tries to throw Woody out or shoves him in a corner. :)

This morning, my mom invited us to a pumpkin patch. Juli and I were going to take 1 year birthday pictures for our kids and the pumpkin patch sounded adorable. Unfortunatly, after getting our toddlers all hyped up for it, the pumpkin patch was closed due to the storm we had last night so we had to forego that plan. Instead, my mom got a bunch of pumpkins for the kids to decorate at her house.
Here's Dallen decorating his pumpkin.

"Cheese, mom!"

Andersen had fun watching them.

So did Brooklyn.

All the kids decorating their pumpkins.

I have THE CUTEST son! Ever! I love his curly red hair. Love it!

After they decorated pumpkins, the kids were inside playing and apparently had fun pushing the water button on the fridge. Water was all over the kitchen floor and we actually never saw the culprits doing the naughty deed. Instead, we found this...One thirsty boy slurping up the water from the floor and swimming in it. He was giggling like crazy. Apparently, he thought we put the water on the floor just for him. :)

After our fun adventure, I needed to go grocery shopping. When we pulled into the parking lot, Hayley had fallen asleep. I thought about what I should do since she normally doesnt nap. I thought maybe she'd wake up but since we'd had so much fun that morning, I figured she was probably tired from playing so much...so I got creative. Davey had left a blanket in the car and I put it in the cart like a mattress and layed her on top.

I thought surely she would wake up before we got inside Walmart but here she is ready to sleep-shop. :)

Had to throw in this awesome picture of my Bubba boy.

And yes, that would be her STILL sleeping after we went grocery shopping and I put her back in the car. Seriously! I was so surprised that she slept the whole time.

It's a good thing we only needed a couple of items from Walmart since she took up the entire basket of the cart. People were oohing and aahing about how precious it was that she was sleeping like that. All in all, today was a success even though at first it seemed to flop.
I love my mom and all of the fun things she does for us. I hope someday I can make my children feel just as loved as she makes me and my children feel.
