We had a busy, fun filled Easter weekend! We started off Saturday morning at the Guthrie's for a cousin Easter egg hunt.

All the grandkids {minus Kai Bear}, ready to find their eggs.

Andersen filling his basket.

Hayley filling her basket.

Andersen having a meltdown after we wouldn't let him eat all of his candy...oh my dramatic baby boy. :)

Then the kids all had a picnic outside with egg salad sandwiches.

Then we headed over to the Maughans for an extended family BBQ. The kids went swimming...

...and by that, I mean Hayley went swimming. Andersen fell down once in the water and wanted OUT!

But they were both happy in the end. Hayley in the pool, Andersen playin with the dog. :)

Then we got our bunny! We switched her for our turtle with Davey's cousin and she ended up being the star of the evening! Hayley named her Astrid, after the girl on How to Train Your Dragon.

Next up, Easter morning! The kids woke up to these Easter baskets.

As you can see, Hayley was WAY excited!!! Dont you LOVE her morning hair?

Then we took a bath to get ready for Easter Sunday in their new outfits. Hayley was excited that Belle is a bath barbie and can play with her in the tub.

Andersen just loves bathtime. :)

This is the best picture I got of the kids together, showing off their outfits. I really tried to match the orange but I was WAY off. Guess I learned my lesson and next time, Ill compare the colors before making the final decision. :)

They seriously love each other. Though they fight {a lot}, they can be the best of friends too.

The best picture I got of busy body Andersen in his outfit. I made his cute tie and everything.

Hayley being a sass in her beautiful dress that Nana sewed for her.

After church, they had a cousins Easter egg hunt. The big girls knew right what to do and headed out.

The Newmans finding eggs.

Happy Andy after finding some goodies.

Then the kids played with the bubbles they got. My BIL Nick's mom was in town to spend Easter with her grandkids so she spent the afternoon with us as well. Andersen LOVED that she took the time to sit and blow bubbles with him {and so did I}. Can you tell he likes bubbles?

Beautiful Brookie. Love her so much. This girl doesnt take bad pictures.

He REALLY loves bubbles, if you didnt catch that already.

Then 'Grandma Newman' helped Andersen blow is own bubbles. So cute!

The two big girlies hanging out outside. Annalie's happy face and Hayley's sassy face. :)

All the grandkids on the Maughan side.

Then that night, we headed BACK to my parent's house to end our evening. Davey took Andersen on a scooter ride and they were having a blast.

And Grandpa was swinging Hayley "super high", per her request.
Silly Grandma put this headband on Hayley when we left to drive home that night and Hayley was loving it.
Easter was such a fun time. I love the spirit that we get to feel and the time we are able to spend with family. There is nothing more important than those two things.
