A couple of weeks ago, it started getting hot! That's inevitable for where I live but we've tried to make the best of it. This is the first time I've been home with the kids all day and have been able to swim or go to splash pads whenever we want to.
Almost every day, we play out on the trampoline and either Davey or I sprays the kids with the hose. This has become such a favorite thing in our household and I think we will be incorporating this into Hayley's birthday party.
She has SO much fun watching Astri, our bunny, hop around in the grass while she's getting sprayed by Daddy with the hose.
Sometimes Daddy even joins in on the fun...Mommy has yet to do this. :)
Last week, we tried out our first splash pad of the season. We went over to the splash pad right behind Liberty Market and took our friend, Mallerie.
Hayley subjected Belle to the water before getting herself wet. :)
Hayley's friend, David, also came to play! His mom is the one who actually invited us to the splash pad. :)
Andersen LOVED it. He is definitely at the perfect age for splash pads this year.
After that, we got the kids some lunch at Burger King.
David and Hayley...BFF's. They are so cute together!
